Summer Work Crew
The Bass Lake Summer Work Crew Program for Summer 2021 is still being evaluated. Due to on-going gathering restrictions, Bass Lake staff is not able to open the applications for Summer Work Crew at this time. A determination on program status will be updated on April 1st. Basic application information has been posted, but application dates have not been determined.
- Designed for teens ages 14 – 16
- They get involved in their community
- Obtain valuable work experience
- Gain new skills and knowledge
- Each year 24 participants are selected to participate in one of the two month long sessions
- Program is administered and operated by Bass Lake Park
Job Description
- Learn hands on skills while participating in general park maintenance and selected park projects
- Opportunities for team-building and leadership development
- Community service projects with local businesses and non-profits
- Work hours are typically 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday – Friday
- Pay is $4.25/hour (youth minimum wage) with direct deposit every two weeks. The participant must have a checking or savings account in their name
