Holly Springs Parks and Recreation takes priority in serving and supporting the community. We recognize that changes to the upcoming school year and the shift to online education creates a need for out of school time care for children. We are excited to announce the opening of the Hunt Center CARE program, Cultivating Academic support, and Recreational Enrichment!
Hunt Center CARE will provide full-day child care from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for students K-6.
The CARE program will be staffed by Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Program Specialists and counselors trained in school-age care and providing assistance during remote learning. Hunt Center CARE will offer a safe and supportive environment for students to participate in remote learning or virtual academy.
Students will be grouped in small classes with space to support virtual schoolwork and allow for distancing.
Wi-Fi will be available.
Students are required to provide their own devices, headphones, and other necessary school supplies.
When remote learning and schoolwork are complete, Hunt Center CARE staff will provide recreational enrichment for students to keep them engaged including activities such as arts, crafts, and active games.
As our society navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that schedules are uncertain and ever-changing. To provide flexibility, we will offer a daily registration option to allow for parents to register for the days that best fit their needs. Only need care on Mondays? Then only register for Mondays. Plus, if you need care for the full week, register for every day, and Friday is FREE!
