Northeast Gateway Master Plan
The Northeast Gateway Master Plan will guide land use, development and community investment around the future interchange of Holly Springs Road and NC 540. Feedback from the community is vital as it will be used to form a vision for the area, in conjunction with the Town's Comprehensive Plan.
The Town will use the Northeast Gateway Master Plan to guide decision-making on future land-use and community investment.
The Northeast Gateway is the northeastern entrance or “gateway” to Holly Springs, generally located north and east of the intersection of Sunset Lake Road and Holly Springs Road.
What is a Master Plan?
A master plan is a long-range planning and policy document that is focused on a particular area. Master plans guide land-use and community investment decisions for the Town Council, advisory boards and Town staff, as well as developers and property owners. Community members, including people who live in the specific area, provide input on the plan throughout the planning process.
The Northeast Gateway Master Plan will work in conjunction with Vision Holly Springs Comprehensive Plan but may vary in relation to surrounding land uses as well as transportation, housing, design guidelines and economic development goals.
