Parks & Recreation Volunteer Opportunities

Holly Springs Parks & Recreation offers volunteer opportunities for all interests. Volunteers help make affordable programs and services possible. You can coach a youth sports team, maintain a trail, serve as an usher, help out at a special event, and more! View details about Parks & Recreation volunteer opportunities.

Help with Emergency Response Efforts

Do you have the desire to serve your community in times of need? The Town is considering launching a Community Emergency Response Team of volunteers who would be ready to help in a variety of situations, from assisting in the aftermath of a major disaster to supplementing staffing at special events, such as festivals and parades. Learn more about the Community Emergency Response Team.

Organize a Litter Cleanup

It's easy to organize group cleanup events in Holly Springs! Check out a free Litter Kit from Holly Springs Stormwater staff for everything your group needs to collect litter from an area in Town.

Town Hall Volunteers

Are you friendly and somewhat outgoing? Have a little time to spare and a willingness to share it with others? Consider volunteering at Town Hall. Volunteers greet visitors, sign for packages, and direct visitors to service counters and offices. Shift options are 8-11 a.m., 11-2, and 2-5 p.m. Serve as little as one shift a month or as often as you like. No experience is necessary. Volunteers must be at least age 18. Contact Town Clerk Linda McKinney at linda.mckinney@hollyspringsnc.gov to express interest.
