New Residents

Dear New Holly Springs Resident,

Welcome to Holly Springs! I hope you are enjoying our warm and inviting atmosphere, lush greenways and parks, and vibrant shops and restaurants. Holly Springs is consistently ranked among the safest towns in North Carolina with quality of life as our biggest asset.

I invite you to take part in the excitement happening on Main Street, where historic homes sit near gorgeous new developments featuring shops, services and restaurants. This juxtaposition of old and new allows Holly Springs to retain its southern character while giving you the ability to shop until you drop or enjoy an evening out with new friends. Make sure to catch a show at the Holly Springs Cultural Center nearby.

Out and about on a sunny Saturday morning? Enjoy farm fresh produce and artisanal foods at the Holly Springs Farmers Market, ranked #4 in the Southeast and #1 in North Carolina. The Farmers Market is open throughout the year along West Ballentine Street outside the Cultural Center.

Also, make sure to catch a game at Ting Park, featuring a nearly 2,000 seat stadium, which is home to the Holly Springs Salamanders and two college soccer teams hosted by Wake Futbol Club.

Holly Springs is also known for its family friendly festivals and events that run throughout the year. These include our special Independence Day celebration on July 5th and the annual HollyFest celebration in the fall. From our Spring Fling event that includes an egg hunt to our Happy Holly Days Parade, the year is full of fun, family-friendly community festivals – events you won’t want to miss. Find more festival information here.

From parks and recreation programming for all ages and abilities to fantastic public schools to a vibrant and growing downtown, I hope you’ll find Holly Springs to be inclusive, warm and welcoming - a place where you can find a variety of ways to be a meaningful part of our community.

Yours Truly,

Holly Springs Mayor Sean Mayefskie
