Holly Springs residents and businesses who pay utility bills online will find more options and improved access to account information on the Town’s new online payment website.
The ability to set up automated utility bill payments via credit card and e-check is available with the new system. Access to detailed utility bill statements and information within the new website offers increased transparency.
"We are thrilled to offer this modernized, secure platform for our residents and businesses," said Finance Director Tina Stroupe. "The new website provides our customers with more information, right at their fingertips."
The new system also offers customers the ability to modify their account information directly, instead of having to complete a form and wait for it to be processed. Another feature allows users to set up customized email reminders for their accounts. Additional functionality is planned.
Because it is a new platform, all customers who wish to pay online will need to create a username and password to log in. Customers then will be prompted to add their utility account number and name, exactly as it appears on the bill. Once the account is set up, customers will only need their username and password the next time they wish to access the platform.
Customers who use autodraft to pay Town utility bills would have needed to resubscribe to this option in the new system before Feb. 24 for uninterrupted automated payments. The December and January utility bill payments were processed using the system previously in place. The new payment platform is for utility bills sent beginning Feb. 1.
