The State of North Carolina allows public agencies and utility companies, like Spectrum and Google Fiber, the right to work in front of a resident’s yard, provided the work stays within the public right-of-way.
Google Fiber and Duke Energy have begun a large-scale installation project in Holly Springs that may impact the right-of-way in front of homes and businesses in the community.
