Holly Springs Road Widening (Flint Point-Sunset)

Overview

Widening from Flint Point Lane to Sunset Lake Road to four lanes with bike lanes and sidewalks. This project will increase road capacity ahead of the 540 interchange. Upgrading the bridge over Middle Creek will improve public safety since the existing bridge floods during heavy rainfall.

This project is the largest Town roadway project ever and was among those included in the 2018 Transportation Bond package. More than $4 million dollars in federal funds have been secured to assist with project costs.
