The Holly Springs Police Department Cadet Program provides young people the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement. Chartered through the Public Safety Cadet group, a nationally recognized non-profit organization, cadets meet twice a month on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Holly Springs Police Department.
Our Focus
- Teaching integrity, leadership, commitment, responsibility and good citizenship.
- Instilling an understanding and appreciation of the justice system, human relations, morality and ethics in the field of law enforcement.
- Assisting the Holly Springs Police Department in providing service to the community, especially during times of emergency.
- Volunteering, and learning the value of community service.
Interested in Becoming a Cadet?
Applicants to the cadet program must:
- Be age 14-20
- Have no felony arrests or convictions.
- Have no prior misdemeanor convictions.
- Have no serious traffic offense convictions.
- Have and maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) reported quarterly.
- Must be in good standing with their school, work, family, and friends as determined by background/reference check.
