Lead and Copper Water Line Inventory

  1. How would you like to provide information on your water service line as part of the federally mandated inventory?*
  2. If you are inspecting your own line
  3. How to Determine Your Service Line Material

    1. Gather the needed items: A key or a coin, and a magnet (any magnet will do).

    2. Locate your water service line: This will likely be in a garage, basement, crawl space, or utility closet. It should look something similar to the two pictures (below) and have a shut-off valve.
