In the month of July, parks and recreation departments across the country acknowledge how they improves the lives of their citizens, making a lasting impact in their community. Holly Springs Parks & Recreation prides itself in providing quality parks, facilities, programs, and events that give residents and visitors opportunities for building and playing together. Parks & Recreation is hosting an Open House on July 10!

Join us for our Parks & Recreation Open House as we showcase the variety of services Parks & Recreation has to offer through our parks, facilities, programs, and events! Experience a night of exploration through the eyes of Parks & Recreation Professionals as you get a hands-on look at the work that goes into everything Parks & Recreation offers. Enjoy FREE activities, games, face painting, prizes, and MORE!

  • Parks – Professionals from our Administration and Parks Maintenance teams discuss the work involved in maintaining our parks, trails, and greenways, as well as what the future holds for parks projects.
  • Facilities - Professionals from our teams at Bass Lake, Holly Springs Cultural Center, Hunt Recreation Center, and North Main Athletic Complex.
  • Programs – Professionals from our teams covering Athletics, CARE, Dance, Drama, Nature, Farmers Market, Seniors, and Teens.

July 14 - Free Open Play Wii Night - Holly Springs Cultural Center - 6:30-8PM - Ages 6+ - Registration Required

July 19 - Free Outdoor Family Movie Night (Guardians of the Galaxy) - Holly Springs Cultural Center - 8:30-10:30PM - All Ages - Registration Recommended

July 25 - Free Stargazing: Night Sky Wonders - Sugg Farm Park - 8:30-10PM - All Ages - Registration Required Registration Full.
