Residents can drop off any amount of yard waste at no additional cost at the newly opened yard waste convenience center, open every Wednesday through Sunday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. at 6412 Rex Rd.

The yard waste convenience center is another option for residents who want to dispose of yard waste in advance of their collection date or who want to dispose of a large quantity of yard waste without paying the Town for curbside collection of an excessive amount.
What types of yard waste are accepted at the convenience center?
- Tree limbs, shrubbery, lawn clippings, leaves, pine needles – all types of yard waste that can be left at the curb for collection by the Town, also will be accepted at the convenience center.
- Loose yard waste must be deposited at the convenience center as it would be at the curb – without bags or containers. If residents bring yard waste to the site in a bag or bin, they can empty the container at the center.
- Items that cannot be left at the curb also cannot be left at the convenience center. This includes dirt, root balls, mulch, rocks, concrete, construction debris, pallets, and all sizes of lumber, including mailbox posts.

- The center is for residential customers only at no additional cost. Bring proof of Holly Springs residence, such as a driver's license or utility bill.
- Landscaping companies must dispose of waste at another location.
When can I drop off yard waste at the convenience center?
- Beginning Sept. 13, hours will be Wednesday through Sunday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
