Christmas Tree Collection

Note: Christmas tree pickup is extended through Feb. 5 due to inclement weather.

Looking to dispose of your live Christmas tree? Remember to remove all decorations and other objects, including tinsel and nails. Trees with objects on them could damage the chipping machine.

Options for Disposal

Curbside Collection Jan. 5-Feb. 5, 2026

Leave your tree at the curb for collection at no additional charge. Each week, Christmas trees will be collected using the zone schedule as noted below. Collection will be delayed one day during the week of Jan. 19.

• Monday: Leaf Zone A
• Tuesday: Leaf Zone B
• Wednesday: Leaf Zone C
• Thursday: Leaf Zone D

Convenience Center Dropoff

Drop off your tree at the yard waste convenience center at 6412 Rex Road at no additional charge.

Schedule a Special Pickup

If you would like your Christmas tree collected curbside, outside of the schedule noted above, submit a request using the Holly Springs Connect app or by calling 311 or (919) 577-3111 if outside Town limits. A service charge will be assessed and must be paid before collection.
